About the Company

OJSC "Vologda building designs and road machines factory" was created as an auto repair factory in 1947. In 1971, the factory was oriented to the manufacture of road-building equipment: inventory mobile buildings for road-building organizations, heavy-duty trailers, and scrapers, becoming the main unit in the system of Minavtodor of the RSFSR for manufacturing mobile amenity buildings.

Since 1987, the factory has specialized in the manufacture of mobile (inventory) container-type buildings of various purposes (dwelling, sanitary and household, industrial and warehouse).

Since 1996, the factory has manufactured Contour system block containers in the main typical sizes (2.5х6 m; 2.5х9 m; 2.5х6.8 m; 2.8х8 m; 3х6 m; 3х9m; 3х12 m) based on a chassis, on a skid or stationary, of various functionality, both one- and two-storied.

Since 2002, OJSC "Vologda building designs and road machines factory" has been producing quick-erectable rack-and-panel buildings of "VolDom" trademark for dwelling and social purpose. The factory designs, manufactures, delivers and turnkey erection of buildings up to 3 floors and attic-floors.

Since 2007, OJSC "Vologda building designs and road machines factory" has been producing "MobiKon" block containers in the main typical sizes of 2.5х6, 3х6, 3х9 m.
The buildings operation is possible in climatic areas with air temperature of -55°С ... +45°С. Mobile buildings are indispensable in natural disaster areas. Buildings are equipped in accordance with their function and outfitted with heating, water supply, sewage, electricity, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and fire alarms.

Owing to their design philosophy and high mobility, it is possible to manufacture, deliver and mount any facilities: canteens, medical centers, shops, dormitories, baths, saunas, offices, dressing rooms, etc.

The factory designs, develops, manufactures, delivers and turnkey erection of both separate buildings and administrative and amenity complexes, camps, builder settlements which are composed on basis of bloc-containers taking into account the technical requirements and the customer's requests.

At the customer's request a block container can be manufactured with alternative overall dimensions, have various technological apertures, embedded items for mounting of equipment, cable trays, etc.

The factory offers buildings of hangar-type with a 6 to 24 m span both cold and warm versions for launching production facilities.

All manufactured products are certified.

The geography of the factory's production communications covers both the territory of Russia (cooperation with the Far East, Siberian, Urals, and North-West Federal Districts) and CIS countries (Ukraine, Kazakhstan). The list of the factory's partners also includes foreign companies acting in the territory of Russia.

The introduction of new technologies and permanent improvement of product design allows to the factory’s' production to occupy a leading place in the market of manufacturers of mobile buildings.
